{"id":369,"date":"2017-08-20T11:16:21","date_gmt":"2017-08-20T15:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newhopeforlife.org\/?p=369"},"modified":"2017-09-03T10:32:26","modified_gmt":"2017-09-03T14:32:26","slug":"the-seven-churches-of-revelation-vii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.newhopeforlife.org\/2017\/08\/20\/the-seven-churches-of-revelation-vii\/","title":{"rendered":"The Seven Churches of Revelation &#8211; Part VII"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Church of the Laodiceans<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Lukewarm church\n<ul>\n<li>They were neither hot nor cold about their faith.<\/li>\n<li>They were largely indifferent towards God &#8211; probably only thinking about Him when they were in trouble.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Many think this represents the last day church<\/li>\n<li>The church is called to be the ambassadors for Christ.\n<ul>\n<li>He will take care of His ambassadors, making provision.<\/li>\n<li>He won&#8217;t take care of those who are lukewarm, selfish Christians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Lukewarm church didn&#8217;t realize they had need of anything\n<ul>\n<li>They thought that because they were well off materially, they didn&#8217;t need God for anything.<\/li>\n<li>When Gideon went to battle, he had his men put torches inside of clay pots.
