()<\/li>\n<li>What changed?\n<ul>\n<li>The Holy Spirit hadn\u2019t yet fallen.<\/li>\n<li>Witnessing the death and resurrection of Jesus undoubtedly brought them more tightly together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Unity in the early church\n<ul>\n<li>When the church is in one accord, it functions like a well-oiled machine.<\/li>\n<li>Continuing steadfastly in the apostles\u2019 doctrine.\n<ul>\n<li>Jesus\u2019 teachings.<\/li>\n<li>The Law &amp; the prophets (OT)<\/li>\n<li>Steadfast = firm, fixed, not subject to change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Signs &amp; wonders were done<\/li>\n<li>Needs were met.\n<ul>\n<li>The disciples didn\u2019t value their own possessions or wealth above the needs of their brethren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>They kept things simple<\/li>\n<li>They praised God<\/li>\n<li>When persecution would arise, they would band together in unity (See Acts 4:24)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Verses<\/strong>\u00a0Gen. 1:26,\u00a0Gen. 11:1-9,\u00a0Matt. 18:19,\u00a0Ps. 133,\u00a0Acts 1:14, Acts 2:1-5; 40-47, Acts 4:32, Acts 5:12, Rom. 15:1-6,\u00a0Mark 10:35-45, Luke 9:46, Luke 22:24<\/p>\n<p>No Audio Recording is Available<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is great power in unity and being in one accord.
